Opportunity to learn, research, present, and publish projects

Notes
Duration:
- Maximum of two months
- Non-extensible
Schedule:
- Part-time
- Interns will meet mentors at convenient times but must meet deadlines
Tracks and Specialization
Interns can choose one of the following tracks:
- Vaccine Design
- Computer-Aided Drug Discovery
- Data Science for Biomedical Research
- Python and R Programming for Bioinformatics
- Online Database Development
Goal of the Training
The program will equip interns with:
- Theoretical and practical skills in chosen tracks
- Programming and data analysis techniques
- Research project experience
- Contribution to publications and presentations
Required Documents
- CV
- Statement of Intent
- Letter of Recommendation (from Department Head, Lecturer, Lab Technologist, or Supervisor familiar with applicant’s work ethic)
- Also include non-research-related skills (e.g. Content-Writing, Graphic Design)

Criteria
- Applicants must be from biomedical science or data science-related disciplines
- Experience not required but advantageous
- Bonus consideration for:
- Demonstrated interest in biomedical/data science research
- Non-research skills
- Degrees in Crop and Pest Management, Animal Production, and Health
Selection
- Based solely on submitted documents
